Efficient, flexible and manageable The NEC XN120 has features seldom found on small business systems. For example, it is one of the very few systems that can provide caller line identity (CLI) to traditional corded, cordless or system-phones. This means that you can even connect traditional DECT cordless phones and still get the incoming callers name, or telephone number displayed before you answer the call. CLI is a standard feature so no extra cards or equipment is required. The system can distribute calls evenly to assigned staff or in a priority order. If one group member is busy, the call forwards to the next group member. If all extensions are busy you can queue incoming callers and if you have the integrated voicemail card you can play holding messages. Scalability - Build on your investment Start small and expand your system when you want. Unlike most competitive systems, the XN120 does not force you to throw away your existing main cabinets when your business expands. Just add XN120 expansion cabinets and expand all the way up to 72 extensions and 27 lines.

The XN 64 button DSS Console is designed for the operator or receptionist. It provides 64 function/number/busy lamp field (BLF) buttons. External/internal paging zones buttons, alternate answer call button, 2 door phone buttons, day/night mode buttons. This item must be connected to one of the analogue extension ports.
The XN 120 Door Phone is designed to work with the door / paging card (P/N 27254 £40.00) which provides for connection of two door phones as well as two relay connects for opening a suitable door lock. When your visitor presses the button on the door-phone it will ring any extension, or group of extensions. The person answering the call can speak to the visitor and if all is well dial a pre-set code to close the relay contacts and (if connected) release your door lock.
Optional Voicemail / Auto Attendant / Queue Announcements The integrated Voicemail / Auto Attendant Card has eight ports for voice mail and 16 channels for queue announcements. This means that it can handle very heavy traffic. The unit allows up to 48 recordable queue announcements, DISA greetings and Park and Page. It also has call forward announcements and fixed user guidance messages. It's a powerful package but remember...it's an option. If you wish you can connect a standard answering machine as easy as you can connect a telephone.
